Whoever wants to understand the protective measures outside. We were there in the evening and had to walk past everyone who was already sitting close together to get to the entrance. The distance is definitely not kept. Very loud and crowded inside. The food tastes delicious and our cocktails at happy hour were also very good. We didn't have to wait long, everything went well.

We have always enjoyed being there, but today we've been sitting for 10 minutes and nobody comes to us to order anything. Even when we spoke to a waiter, we were ignored without hearing a word. We found that extremely unfriendly and disrespectful. We left the store with great disappointment

In my opinion, there is no better place to drink a cocktail in Wuppertal than Sausalitos. The food there is also always great. The staff are always very friendly

We visited the Mexican restaurant SAUSALITOS in Wuppertal with friends at the end of August 2020. The food was great! Special praise goes to the friendly service! My chili con carne itself was delicious and nicely presented. I can only recommend the restaurant.

Food took 1 hour and 10 minutes. Cocktails outside of happy hour are not cheap but are tasty. Food was okay, burgers seem to be ready-made meat patys, as is usually the case in system catering. Background noise very loud. Waiters tried hard, but were busy.

After the waitress tipped the glass over all of my trousers and my girlfriend's pocket and shirt, there was only a "I'm sorry" and "if the stains don't come out, come back". Thanks for nothing. I had suede vans! One could at least have taken the one cocktail I had as compensation. But they didn't charge me for the cocktail that was poured on my lap. How generous. I think again if I go.

A nice place to spend a nice evening. The staff is super friendly and not too pushy. The cocktails taste great and the food is highly recommended. Unfortunately it is a bit too loud in the restaurant. There were four of us and the table was unfortunately a bit small for the food we ordered.

As always, delicious cocktails and delicious food. And of course too loud as always ... Service is nice, friendly and quick, even when it is very busy. I like it z. Z. better in the sausa because there are fewer tables and it is not so full.

Absolute disaster. Last week I was there what the hygiene measures are all clean. I especially met a strong smell from the bear area that smelled of putrefaction. It got worse in the toilets, the floor was full of vomit and feces. There was no soap or paper to dry your hands. My food wasn't warm and my cocktail glass had lipstick on. The manager was extremely rude. Communication was a nightmare. I will never enter this shop again and I am utterly disappointed.

Delicious cocktails, friendly service. Value for a big cocktail ok ... But on a Friday evening with regard to the Covid19 development, too many people in my opinion. That was a little scary. I dare to doubt whether 1.5 m was observed ...

Delicious food, long waiting times, great waiters, high prices, but you pay for the quality. the place is also clean, but it is better to eat outside. I will visit again :)

Yes the food is ok but could be much better. Potato wedges too fat a lot of meat just not what they should. Shame nice place and decor. Staff just not friendly enough. In short, my advice to sausalitos: eat from your own kitchen, wake up in the kitchen, and see how you want to be served. "Danke ist ja manchmal genugend". A pity about the trouble with something more spirit there are many possibilities

Nice service and really delicious food at fair prices. 5 star there would be if the waiting times would not last as long (depending on the time delays are normal one hour and up)

It was another great 18th birthday of my brother. Would come back more often if it weren't that expensive.

Very comfortable place with its own atmosphere. The selection of cocktails is huge, the food is delicious, and the Sex on the Beach cocktail is just a blast! I recommend this place! The staff is friendly, helpful, despite the evening and a large flow of people - we were served quickly. SAUSALITOS made it to my favorite places <3

I love eating at Sausalitos, especially on Monday. They have half off food, so prices are actually super REASONABLE then. Otherwise I would hesitate to go. One burger can cost 14 Euros there! The food is tasty but it's not authentic Mexican food. Their burgers and fried chicken are really good, the best in Wuppertal. Don't get the tacos, the fillings seem to be made simply from canned ingredients and it's not worth it.

Quite expensive (1 small coctail for 8 eur...) but I appreciate the ecological thinking - they have the straws made from pasta! :-O such a brilliant idea how not producing plastic waste!

This large (but not huge) Mexican restaurant still has some cost corners. There are TVs, in case this bothers you. The cocktails are good, and there are many to choose from. I has the Chile con Carne and was impressed. It is also served in an interesting manner. Service was attentive.

Very nice place, full of people, good food, nice drinks and cocktails for the summer and good prices!

Me and my girlfriend got food poisoning after eating some strage-looking chicken here. We are not coming back for sure.
